Quick Tip: Don't Fake It
I was taking an initial tour of a new client's office when I noticed a fill-in calendar hanging on the wall. It wasn't located anywhere easily and readily usable and the date/month filled in was well over a year old. I asked what was going on with that situation. "I threw that up there when we got audited so they wouldn't know we never used our office."
I gave her "the look" and then we both laughed. Next thing she said was, "You're going to blog this aren't you?"
Well folks, she was right and here it is!
Today's quick tip - If you find out your home office is going to get audited, don't throw up a fake calendar. See this as the opportunity that it is - lighting a fire under it so you can get your home office properly organized.
