Food Geek Friday: Peach Sauce

Today's recipe is a riff off of the blackberry sauce from a couple of weeks ago and one of my favorite desserts, red wine marinated peaches.  It's really good over ice cream, angel food cake, waffles or any other dessert/brunch carb of choice.

Peach Wine Sauce


  • 4   ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2  cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • a few dashes ground cinnamon
  • a few dashes pumpkin pie spice


Add ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. Pour over something delicious and desserty.

Note - all amounts above are guestimated. I didn't actually measure anything before I threw it in so you may want to play around with it.
