Hey Red! Like Shampoo for Milk.
My clients (family/friends/strangers) always ask for my advice and recommendations on much more than just organizing. And the way I’ve seen it, if one has a question, I’m sure many do. Here’s where I’ll share these tips and answers with you!
Hey Red! Like Shampoo for Milk
Let's take a look at a couple of factors.
Is this a shampoo and conditioner that you normally use and like or would use and like? Do you have a good place to store the shampoo and conditioner until you need it? Is the free milk a milk you would normally buy? If so, then this can be a good deal. However, if you answer no to any of these questions, then it's time to look at cost.
If it's not a milk you want, then obviously it's not a good deal.
If it's the shampoo/conditioner that you don't want, do the two cost less than the two gallons of milk? If so, then it's a good deal and you can give the shampoo/conditioner to a friend. If not, then obviously the real deal is to just pay for the milk.
There are a lot of so called "deals" out there that are really anything but. Remember, sales are not there to save you money and clutter. They're ultimately there to get you to spend more. Follow the "need, use, love" rule for all parts of the offer and examine the numbers closely. This will help you determine if it's truly the best deal for you or not. If not, walk away with your wallet none the lighter.
