Were it not for the fact that many clients look surprised then delighted when I do this, I wouldn't have thought to share this tip with the class. It's so quick and easy that it may seem silly to dedicate a full post to. 

However, this is something that's taken people by surprise so it's time to share...just in case you haven't thought about it too. 

The most fabulous thing about adjustable shelving is that you can customize it to fit your needs. The least fabulous thing about adjustable shelving is that if you don't use all the shelves, what the hell do you do with the leftover pins so you don't lose them? 

Store them in the shelving. 

Yep. Just pick a spot and pop them into the shelf holes.

Sometimes the solution is so obvious that we look right past it. 

Alternatively, you can put them in a little baggie and tape them or cling-wrap them to the additional shelves so they're there in you decide to add in the shelving. 

Et voila! Easy storage of those little, leftover pins.
